Shelli brings more than 25 years of insurance industry knowledge and expertise to the business. She has worked in all phases of the insurance industry and possesses a unique understanding of building an insurance policy from the ground up. Additionally, she has many years experience in Risk Management, which gives her the ability to pre-underwrite her clients thereby cutting the time it takes for underwriters to return quotes and better pricing than her competitors. In the building industry and current market, time is one of our largest hurdles. She has handled large volume builders down to the small trade contractor and is able to address the needs of each individually.
Shelli grew up in a contractor family where she honed her knowledge of the construction industry. Just as she knows what goes into building a policy, she knows what goes into building a house. This special knowledge gives her an edge over other professionals in the insurance industry. In addition to her extensive insurance and building industry expertise, Shelli brings to the organization a book of business worth over a million dollars, proven high production sales and negotiation skills, top notch risk management and loss control experience, public speaking ability and superior knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the building industry.
An insurance broker's license, hours of continuing education and professional training supports Shelli's experience. She has been an active member of the Master Builders Association of King Snohomish Counties for going on 15 years serving on their Board of Directors and chairing numerous committees and councils including her favorite project, Rampathon. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Building Industry Association of Washington and several construction safety councils throughout the state of Washington. Shelli is heavily involved with the legislative process in Olympia testifying on potential laws that impact the building industry.
